This color gradually fades with time and is much gentler as it doesn't fully penetrate the hair shaft. Great if you want a low maintenance color, a opaque color, or are experimenting with something new. Permanent fully penetrates the hair and provides long-lasting results. It's ideal for gray coverage or making a significant , long term change. Permanent color wont wash out but it will grow out, which means you will see regrowth at the roots and need touch-ups every 4-8 weeks.
